Cory L. Brame, MD
Dr. Brame practices general ophthalmology, and is a specialist in corneal disease and surgery. She attended the University of Texas Medical School, and subsequently completed an internship at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She graduated from the prestigious Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, New York with her residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Brame then completed a fellowship in corneal disease and refractive surgery at the highly regarded Shiley Eye Center at the University of California San Diego where she remained for one year as an Assistant Professor.
As a specialist in cornea and anterior segment eye surgery, Dr. Brame is an expert in corneal disease, corneal and refractive surgery as well as cataract surgery. Dr. Brame is a Board Certified ophthalmologist.
Dr. Brame firmly believes in providing the best possible care to her patients through close personal attention. Furthermore, Dr. Brame has equipped in her practice’s laboratory only the most technologically advanced, state-of-the-art ophthalmolgic equipment available on the market today, which ensures the most accurate results when performing patient diagnostic tests and procedures. Dr. Brame employs a comprehensive approach, guaranteeing accurate diagnoses and a speedy recovery. Dr. Brame is ardent in ensuring her patients understand the details of their condition and their prescribed treatment plan.
Dr. Brame has maintained a successful solo private practice in Newport Beach, California, since August, 2003. She has a highly professional and qualified staff, who are friendly, compassionate and courteous.
Dr. Brame resides in Newport Beach with her husband, Desi, and their daughter Kendall. Dr. Brame has wide and varied outdoor interests, including biking, hiking, snow and water skiing, as well as stream fishing.
